Hi Disney Geeks! My brother and I are going to Anaheim and we're both college students. We're looking to save as much as we can and this is the best I've come up with so far so I hope someone has some other suggestions:

We want to go to both Disneyland and Universal Studios:
3 days at Disneyland and 1 day at Universal Studios. Our dates are already set so we cannot add on anything else.

Dates will be July 13-15 for Disneyland and 18th for Universal Studios. I know it's going to be crowded like crazy because of the All-Star game, but that is the main reason I am going is because of the All-Star game myself.

2 Disneyland 3-day Hopper Passes - $184.00/ person = $368
2 Universal Studios Day Pass - $69/person = $140
2 All You Can Eat Passes @ Universal Studios - $24.95/person = $49.90

Total for 4 days of misery, I mean... fun :) = $557.90

I'd like to cut this down if possible!!
Thanks for the help.

24.99 a person isn't so bad but you could probably bring granola bars(about 2.50 split between the two of you) or fruit that can handle heat and pb & j's in a backpack and just have a cheap counter service dinner.

What will you be doing for food at DL?

I've always brought snacks and only ate one meal while at Disney and it saves a lot. Last time I went to Disney World I didn't even have one meal just snacks and used the free ice water at the counters to stay hydrated.

Post it on the DL boards, they might know of some current deals.
Have you looked at City Pass prices?
Could you qualify or know someone to purchase any local discount passes for DL? Not sure if they have any deals right now.

You don't have much time but have you checked Undercovertourist.com for tickets?

It could save you a little bit and shipping is free but I don't know if you'll have enough time to get the tickets.

Have you checked Mousesavers.com? It's not just for Walt Disney World ;)

Check the Disneyland.com website, see if there are any ticket deals. Ditto for the Universal website. Make sure you understand the 'all you can eat' plan before you buy it. It doesn't mean all restaurants!!! Don't worry about food at DL - just exit the park and walk out to the main road. Voila! Restaurants! Chain restaurants! Reasonable food, reasonable prices!

I also suggest checking out the city pass, looks like it might work a little to your advantage in this case. When we go to DL I get our tickets from getawaytoday.com so check there also!
