Can you get desserts from Jiko at Victoria Falls?

I am hoping to stay at AKL next trip. I have seen countless Jiko reviews and while it looks okay the only thing that ever really catches my eye is the spiced donuts with coffee ice cream and maybe the flatbreads. I really don't want to make an ADR since none of the entrees interest me. Can I get a dessert at the lounge? Thanks!

Victoria Falls has an extremely limited menu and I don't believe the desserts are on there. You could go down and sit at the Jiko bar.

We went into the Jiko bar and got desserts from the restaurant. We could not get them at Victoria Falls.

You can't order food from Jiko at Victoria Falls. You can if you go to the small bar just outside Jiko.

There were no doughnuts on the Jiko menu last month.

Thanks for the replies. I haven't really been in AKL besides going to Boma so I was assuming Victoria Falls was outside Jiko. Oops.

Darn it. They looked so good. I guess I won't bother making a trip to Jiko this trip unless the menu changes.

Do you need an ADR to eat at the bar at Jiko?
Can you order anything off the menu?
If not, what can you order from the bar?

No, you don't need a reservation and yes, you can order anything on the menu. Depending on how busy the restaurant is and maybe on the bartender, you can even sit at the small tables in the bar area and order yourself a meal.

Thats a bummer, that was the only dessert we were interested in. What are the new ones?
