Can you get adjoining studios

Hello all .. wondering if anyone has requested adjoining studios and chances of getting this. Not sure how this would work with the mixture of dedicated/lockoffs, etc. Would be nice to save some points from a 2bed with only 5 people, but would like us to be close as possible at the resort if possible

There are no studios that have internal connecting doors to each other. Studios that connect do so only to 1BRs to make 2BR lock-offs. There are studios near and even next to each other and you can request two studios that are so but it is not a guaranteed request.

As drusba said, there are no connecting studios. Some resorts have a few studios that are next door to each other, (like the "U" shaped buildings at OKW) but they can not be guaranteed.

Also remember that there needs to be a person 18+ years old in each room. So you can't put the parents in one studio and the kids (if all under 18) in another studio.

The only DVC resort with connecting studios is at VB where the Inn Rooms in the main lodge connect.

If you are 5 people, go for a 1 BR at BLT or AKV-Kidani. They sleep 5 and have 2 bathrooms.

While they usually accommodate the request, there is no way to guarantee the units be close if you get 2 studios. The cheapest options will be the 1 BR sleep 5 units mentioned above esp for the lower view cat, the standard view 2 BR at BWV, OKW, SSR and the AKV value and standard view units. You might also see if you can get cheaper points as a rental to link to what you have otherwise.

Just to clarify, adjoining means next to each other. Connecting means there is an internal door connecting two rooms together. With DVC, those are called lockoffs.
