Can you find out how many days are left on tickets?

I have a stack of tickets/keys to the world from 7 years of Disney World visits. I feel fairly certain that there were a few trips when we didn't use all the days we purchased on our passes. I have heard you can go to Ticket and Transportation and have them check the tickets for you - but is there any other way, any tools on the internet to see if there are any days left on any of the tickets?

Any guest services CM at Disney World can assist you -- whether they are at a ticket booth, guest services office, or your Disney World hotel front desk. But the key is -- you have to be at Disney to find out how many days you have left on your tickets. You could be sitting on a nice treasure. :flower:

I second that, you have to be at DisneyWorld to find out the info you need.
A few years ago, you could get the information at a Disney Store, but they had so much trouble with people selling park-hoppers over the internet, and just plain selling a non-transferrable ticket, that they quit.

I was checking old PHs at BW last year and the CM at GS told me that they we permitted to check a maximum of 5 PHs at a time. But in April at the Contemporary I had more to check and there the CM just checked whatever I gave him.

And bring a permamnent marker with you so if you do have days left you can write the number of days left ON THE TICKET so you can't forget.

Just a reminder that the old tickets now require a finger scan. So the person that first uses them will be the only person that can use that ticket.

I think you meant to say that the new tickets now require a finger scan.

No I meant to say that the old tickets now require a finger scan. The park hoppers before Magic your Way now require the finger scan.

All passes require a finger scan, even if they are 10 years old, the first time you now put them thru, you scan also.

Now that I think about it, when I was checking our OLD tickets I think the CM did tell me something about the finger scan thing with regards to the OLD tickets.

How does the finger scan thing work, I have eight old park hoppers from 2003 and 2004, I last used them in April 2005, I know that they didn't do anything with a finger scan in April 2005, do I just go and use them at the gates when I go this August or do I have to do something first? When did they start doing the finger scan on old hoppers?

You just insert the ticket and there are instructions on the front of the reader. You stick your fingers in and then you go through. It started last June.

Thanks Safetymom, I'm glad that I heard this before I went, I would have created so much confusion as to who's card belonged to who since there are four of us. I've written our names in permanent marker on each one so that the second time we use them won't be a fiasco. :teeth:

Okay, I misunderstood... I was thinking "OLD tickets" without magnetic strip versus "new tickets" with magnetic strip. Never mind.
