Can you explain EPCOT EMH

I think I understand that Future World opens earlier than World Showcase. Subsequently in most evening FW shuts around 7.00pm.
Guests then enjoy showcase waiting for Illuminations

So how does evening EMH work in FW. Do those of us who are staying off-site get stranded in Showcase

As far as I understand it, the evening EMHs at Epcot begin after IllumiNations for both FW and WS.

Re-reading your post, I probably need to expand further. FW doesn't shut at 7pm to anyone on any night. Many of the rides close down around that time on non-EMH days (although the FASTPASS rides stay open later), but FW itself remains open. Does that make sense?

You will be able to walk around the showcase, the cafes and restaurants are open but the rides will be closed. You can stay in the park even if you are staying offsite.

As far as I'm aware they've done away with the Evening wristband situation and you show your room card to enter an attraction.
