can you drive to different resorts for dinner, etc?

We're staying at ASmo and considering dinner at Ohana's, Chef Mickey's, and Whispering Canyon. Since we are leaving for dinner directly from the ASmo, we thought we might drive rather than take a bus to MK and monorail/boat to resort.

Is this possible? Which is easier/faster? Anyone know?

Sure you can drive! You'll be given a three hour parking permit to use while you eat.

As an FYI, on really busy days such as holidays and special events, you will need to have a PS to park in the lots at teh monorail resorts. In other words, if you are going there to eat but dont have a PS, you won't be able to park there.

We love eating at the different resorts and we always drive !

This is the main reason we rent a car while staying on property. It is so much faster and easier.

Again, it IS important to have a reservation number, especially during busy times. I have heard some Security officers will turn you away if your name isn't on their list.
