Will the resorts, specifically the Poly, let you call before checking in to see if your room is ready?
We are transferring from the Swan to the Poly on Christmas Eve. If our room is going to be ready early I would like to have our luggage with us to settle in, therefore DH would take a cab with the luggage, and the kids and I would do a bus/monorail transfer. However if our room isnt going to be ready until 3:00, theres no need for us to bother with the luggage ourselves. So, Id like to know if we have a room ready or not before leaving the Swan.

I think it might depend on how helpful that particular CM is at that time. It could be busy.
Good luck, I know your stay will be magical.

Sure, you can call. You can even call a day ahead and ask for early check in. They will do the best they can to accomodate you, depending on how many "other" requests you have, you may only get some.

Don't worry, it will all work out!
