Can you do this?

We are going to WDW. We are AP holders and there is a WLCL room available during our time, but the first night is not available with the AP discount. Can we still book the rest of our trip AP discount, but stay in the same room even though the first night is not discounted? What can we do? Any suggestions?

I believe you can make 2 reservations. One for the first night at the un discounted rate and then the rest using the AP discount. You will then have to check out and check back in the second morning, getting new room keys for the second part of the trip. You would have to pay 2 deposits.

Ditto to above. We are doing this in April.
I keep calling, though, to see if the one night is available for a discount.
