Right now my plans are to fly out of CMH on Nov 12 and fly back from MCO on Nov 22.

So could I purchase my Nov 22 tickets now ($117, they're the ones I'm worried about selling out since it's so close to Thanksgiving) and wait to see if any specials come out for either of the flying dates? The CMH rates went down $6 last night. Also, if the Nov 22 tickets go on sale can I apply the overpayment to my Nov 12 tickets. Does this make sense?

Thanks to anyone who has the patients to try to figure out what I'm saying! :rolleyes2

Yes, you can do this. You might also want to look into their ding program and see if you can get the tickets cheaper.

I had booked from RDU to MCO at $57/each way pp. This was a ding fare. Then the trip from RDU to MCO went down to $39 one way pp. So I was able to go onto the internet and change my flights to the new price. (I kept my flight times etc) this gave me a credit that I could use within a year of the first booking. Then a few days later I got a ding price for $35 each way! I had to cancel my flights that I already had reserved. This gave me a full credit. Then I rebooked thru ding at the $35 rate. I still have a credit to be used. I hope this helps some and didn't confuse you more.
