So I finally finished up making our dining plans for our time in Disney...we had to plan last minute unfortunately, but we are really happy with our choices (I think) LOL..my children are 4 and 2 so we chose restaurants that we are hoping that they enjoy! What do you think???

Here goes...

Coral Reef -- lunch
Kona -- dinner
Sci Fi -- lunch
50's Primetime Cafe - dinner
Cape May Cafe @ Beach Club -- character breakfast
Hollywood & Vine -- character breakfast

The restuarants you picked are great for kids that age. However, a lot seem to be in DHS. Do you plan on going there a lot or do you have Park Hoppers? Nothing at MK?

We do have park hoppers. What is DHS? We have the dining plan so we figured on the day that we go to MK, we can grab counter service from there. Is that a bad idea? Should I change one to MK?

DHS is Disney's Hollywood Studio. It looks like you have a breakfast, lunch & dinner ADR in that park. Are they all on the same day?

No they are on different days. I think we are going to choose between Sci FI and the 50s primetime...that will be my next thread. I'm planning our days in the parks now, so I should have a better idea if something needs to be changed, then I'll be back for recommendations I'm sure LOL

Never been to sci-fi, but we enjoyed 50sPT.

Having counter service at MK is not a bad idea. I

just noted that you had a lot at DHS and was wondering if you planned on going there all those days. I would try to plan meals around the parks you will be in, because it will take 30-60 minutes each time you go to a different park, taking time out of the rides and stuff.

Thanks abc, I am taking your advice and cutting out 50s or Sci Fi..... the breakfst is the morning we leave with the LE characters so that is a "must do" for us LOL

With kids that age I would try to get Chef Mickey's and/or Crystal Palace.

If they are girls and like the princesses how about a princess meal??

I would also try to plan meals for the day you will be in the parks. Much easier this way.

Coral Reef ~ they will enjoy the aquarium, we really loved this meal!
Sci Fi ~ we enjoyed it, but my kids are older. It is dark in there.
50's ~ we really enjoyed also. Lots of fun
I haven't eaten the other three, but I have found after two trips that we enjoy lunch and dinner adr's over the breakfast. That is with one exception. We really enjoyed the Ohana character breakfast, but that is our family's opinion. I think all of them have good food from what I've read on all of them. Just go and have fun!!
