Can you continue using disney transportation on check-out day?

My husband and I will be doing more park stuff on the day we check-out from our disney resort. Can we continue to use Disney transportation after we have checked out that day?

I believe you can use the transportation up until midnight of your checkout day. (That is what I was told when I booked the FTP.)
