Can you confirm or deny this hotel info?

Grand Legacy and Desert Inn are not quiet. I don’t know about now but last time we stayed Grand Legacy had a blaring club that played loud music until late and then Desert Inn has trash trucks that start early and with the outside corridors, it is just very loud. Fairfield would be my choice if price was right with Tropicana and either of the Best Westerns vying for second

The noise factor was what I was afraid of with Grand Legacy since they have the bar there.
Good to know about Desert Inn.

Haven’t stayed there since early 2020, but at that time the Park Vue would store luggage if you didn’t have a car. If you did, they asked that you leave your things in the car instead since they had limited storage space.

Hmmm. I wonder if this is what the review on Trip Advisor was referring to when they were told they wouldn’t store it. Maybe they did have a car and just didn’t like being told they have to leave it there.

Yeah, I’ve heard that about Grand Legacy, apparently their rooftop bar at the front gets really loud, so people have suggested requesting the back of the property. Desert Inn was quiet when we stayed at the back, top floor (except for the guy out on the walkway shouting into his cellphone at 9 pm, I just stuck my head out and gave him a stink eye and that took care of it 😂). BWPPI room 102, right behind the office- I loved it because it was the closest I’ve ever been to the crosswalk, but WOW everybody stopping by the stairs to loudly chat about plans for tomorrow! Good thing I have earplugs, that took care of it!

I have done this so many times to inconsiderate people. lol

Yes, same experience you had at BWPPI but at Desert Inn -- everyone shouting from the ground floor at bottom of stairs to people upstairs or everyone just congregating and talking or running loudly on the walkway corridor. Then couple that with the trash trucks in the am and the music from Grand Legacy.. not peaceful at all.

Castle Inn did store my luggage before check in and after check out. However, when I stayed here was November 2014.

I don't remember anything particular about the shower. I think my standard room was quiet.

I've stayed at probably over 100 hotels in my life (I used to travel for work), I've never run into one that will not store luggage.

Any loud hotel room can be addressed by using a white noise app on one's cell phone. It'll drown out the background noise of trash trucks, noisy neighbors, thin walls, etc.

"Good Neighbor" is NOT based on an inspection, Disney or otherwise. It is just a financial agreement with Disney to sell tickets, reserve blocks of rooms for the packages.
Not according to the Disney castmember she talked to. They told her that the Desert Inn no longer meets their standards to be a GN hotel after their annual evaluation.

Stayed at Fairfield 2 years ago and arrived at the hotel at 10am. They stored our luggage at check in and check out with no charge. We had to pay extra but they had a room ready for early check in so we took it. We had a 6am flight out of Seattle so it was nice to get settled and cleaned up before hitting the parks after getting up at 3am.

I don’t remember the water pressure but it must have been decent. My DD and I have long thick hair and if the pressure isn’t good it takes forever to get it washed and I don’t remember complaining about it.

If it makes a difference for you with some of the people mentioning the Desert Inn, when we were looking my TA let us know that they failed their Disney Inspection and that is why they aren't listed as a Good Neighbor hotel anymore.
Repeating, there is no inspection for Disney Good Neighbor. It is totally based on allowing Disney to sell blocks of rooms AND be willing to accept unsold rooms back in a very short time frame.

Had zero issue with water pressure at Park Vue July 5-9th. The water could sometimes take a minute to heat up, but the pressure was fine. Didn't ask them to hold any luggage so no comment on that.
