can you change who is on your reservation?

I was wondering... if we booked a trip and one of couldn't go for whatever reason, but the rest of us could, could you switch the persons ticket, meal plan, etc to another person. Like if I couldn't make it, could we call and say, I won't be there, but my sister lala is coming instead? I have no real reason for asking other than I was just wondering it.

If you do it within your time frame. We did it on our ressie but we did it before the 45 days were in effect.

We did and within 60 days. Our trip was a gift and for some reason when it was purchased is defaulted in the name of the credit card holder (my aunt) used to pay for the trip and left my name completely off the reservation!

We called a couple of days later and they corrected it over the phone. When we got our reservation confirmation in the mail we got two...first the original and then the second corrected on.

The only thing that scares me is now since we changed our names on the reservation, I can not log into disney.com and see my reservation there. But when I call, it's all there okay. I've called serveral times to check!

No, I am meaning last minute. Say the reservation is in my name, but my 19 year son at the last minute can't come and we still decide to go and bring someone else. I would think that if you have insurance it should be no problem. But you never know what kind of rules Disney has.
