My 11 dd wanted me to ask if she could bring a blow up raft or ring for the quiet pools at Port Orleans Riverside. Has anyone ever done this?

No, they are not permitted.
From the Disney Parks Mom Panel (and before you say that the panel is wrong this is from the official Disney web site)

Are children allowed to wear inflatable arm band floaties, or swim with the small inflatable rings around them at resort pools- more specifically POR (where we will be staying)? My 3 year old loves to swim, but won't unless he has his ring! Thanks!

Hi Amanda! Your three your old is going to have so much fun at the pools at Port Orleans Riverside! As a Port Orleans resort guest, you are also entitled to use the pool at Port Orleans French Quarter, which is great, especially for the younger ones.

You can certainly bring inflatable floaties or swim rings to use at your resort pool. There are no prohibitions against personal floatation devices at the Disney pools as long as they are used properly. Many resort gift shops sell floaties, water wings, pool noodles and similar items. Pools also have life jackets available for use free of charge as well.

Write us back with any other questions as you plan your magical vacation Amanda!

That is for very small children with a parent with them. Not a preteen. Very big difference between floaties, water wings and a raft or large tube.

I’m pretty sure it’s only allowed at the lifeguard’s discretion. If the pool is crowded or the tube or raft interferes with their line of sight, they may well say no.

We've used a pool noodle in the quiet pools. Rafts are really not allowed. Lifeguards need to see all areas of pool.

Two weeks ago, the private pool in the Jamaica section of CBR was full of them. We actually were going to go to the private pool but walked to the main pool when we saw the private pool looked like Caddy Day at Bushwood. Don't know what the rule is, but from a practicle matter there didn't seem to be an issue. Of course, I am not encouraging or suggesting anybody break a rule.

There were no lifeguards at the POR quiet pools during our visits to the pool last week. We saw plenty of different floats at the quiet pool.

Even if it's the official Disney site, the Mom's Panel doesn't make Disney rules and gives out incorrect info often. Just because they say it, and write it, doesn't make it so.
Not that that means a thing in this answer, not saying it does. (floaties for littles are perfectly fine but that's not what OP asked about anyway)
Simply addressing your assertion that "it's on the official Disney site" so it has to mean something. Wish it did, but it does not.

A raft at a public pool? I would hope not.
It's not uncommon or strange.
Over at Universal not only are they allowed they sell them right there at the pool. All sorts, shapes, and sizes. No limits on their use.

I've never seen one at a public pool before. I mean they have the donut rings that you can sit in but a raft? Each to their own I suppose.
