restaurants? just wondering if my son falls asleep, would i have to wake him, or would they allow a small umbrella stroller in?

For CS restaurants you should not have a problem, but the TS restaurants especially the character buffets, there is not no extra room. You could ask prior if your son is sleeping, but just be prepared if they deny a request.

Tony's Town Square allowed us to do this when my son was sleeping when we were checking in for our ADR. We just wheeled it up to the table and pulled the chair back. When he woke up he was already at the table and they had just brought his meal. It worked out great.

There are some restaurants where this is not a problem: Tony's is one of them. Nice wide spaces between the tables.

lisaross: Which restaurants are you thinking of visiting?

We took our into some of them like Sci Fi and others there was not enough room like PP had mentioned.

The first time we took our youngest, she was only 3 months old. We had no problem taking her into the Biergarten in her stroller(a full size stroller). They sat us at a table where there were already people sitting on the aisle, so I had to put the stroller by the railing...there was NO room for it, but we made it fit and everyone was very accomodating. I doubt you'll have much trouble if its a necessity.

We have a full size travel system and we were able to take the stroller into every restaurant we ate in and had problems.

We did it when my niece fell asleep right before Hollywood and Vine.. They had no problems, and I think we did it at Liberty Tree Tavern too...

We did this at Mama Melrose's. DS had fallen asleep & I figured we'd have to wake him up & take him out of the stroller. But the hostess said that wouldn't be necessary. She just removed one of the chairs from our table for four. We placed him in the spot that was up against a divider, so the stroller wouldn't be sticking out in the way. He slept through the entire meal. Now, I could see it being more difficult to do that at a buffet, where people were constantly up & down getting food or at a character meal where it could make getting around more difficult for the characters.

We've done this at Mama Melrose and Boma. A friend of mine, who was dining with us, did at CM too. They just pushed the umbrella stroller up to the table like a chair so it wasn't out in the aisle in the way of the characters.

We did it at Chef Mickeys and Cape May when DD was nine months old. They really are great about that...
