Can you book part in points and part in cash for Adventures by Disney?

If its say 800 points for 2 people to go on a trip. can I use say 300 points and pay the rest in cash?
Also if it says: you can not book and travel within the last 4 months of your use year that just mean that you can not BOTH book and travel in the last 4 months...my use year is Dec. Can I book earlier and travel in July?

I can't answer all of your question, but I know that if you are doing one person on points and one on cash, one person must be totally on points. You cannot use some points and some cash for the same person.
