Can you book ADR before booking reservation?

I am in the waiting process for Disney to ROFR an resale add on.

Question since I can't book my stay until 7-10 days after closing can I still book an ADR for my stay at the 180 day window

I really want to get in the tusker breakfast, but don't think we will get in if I have to wait till Disney gets my add on in the system.

i always thought you had to give reservation #.. that is what i thought i did last time when i called.

You only need to give a reservation number if you are wanting to take advantage of the 180 + 10. Guests staying at a Disney resort can book at the 180 day mark + an additional 10 days (with a confirmation number).

People not staying on property can book dining reservations starting at 180 days only.
