Someone stole my new lawnmower out of my garage! I had a yard sale Saturday and it was in the garage when I put the leftovers in front of it. I went to mow my yard today and it was gone. Searched all around the house to no avail... I called the police to file a theft problem. This is the first time something like this has happened in my neighborhood. Sad thing is I've left it out overnight before and no one touched it. And now it comes up stolen. Now I can't mow my yard either

My Mom's garden knome statues got stolen last night. What are they going to do with knomes?

I had a lawnmower taken out of my garage about 5 or 6 years ago and the police told me that it would most likely end up in a flea market somewhere.

Are you sure your other half didn't sell it for a decent price? It wasn't my lawn service. I called the president of my HOA today because they didn't cut the grass properly. Seems they think that doing the edges by the fence and the building is okay without cutting the middle area.

Sorry to hear about this. Makes me think twice about having a yard sale. Something similar happened with a friend of mine. Had just bought 6 yo son a four wheeler for his birthday. Had some people come to fix their roof and the next morning it was missing. The funny thing is their car keys were hanging on hooks in their garage, but the thief only wanted the little four wheeler.

...don't know if you're married, but did SO send it our for repairs? But then again, it's new, did SO lend it out to the neighbors who finally cut their lawn? Bad deal. I hope it turns up and that if it was stolen that the police recover it.

I believe I have an update.... I was outside reading today when I saw this guy who cuts grass in our area drive by.... when he passed my house he sped up as soon as he saw me, but I got a look at his truck... In the back was a lawn mower with a red pullcord thingie just like mine. He had never had one like that before... Makes me start to wonder *dons sherlock holmes hat*
