Can you add the MYW Dining Plan w/Post Card Codes

I have a question..... Can you purchase the MYW Dining Plan if you've received the Post Card rate of $59.00?

Let me explain; We rec'd a post card with a pin # for the rate of $59.00 for the value hotels. OK... I booked my room 4 days/3 nights, even got the base tickets from Disney but.........when I asked to add the MYW Dining Plan I was told that I couldn't add it to my room & tickets because I got such a discount. Does this sound right?? Or would ya'll call back & ask for someone else? We had the Gold plan in May 2003 & I assumed we could just add this to our room & tickets just like the Gold Plan, evidently you can't. I'm confused............ANY HELP would be very much appreciated !!!!

We were able to add the dining plan to our email discount code for the room. I have read other posts where people have been able to add the dining plan to their codes, but I've also read that other people had problems with this. There are several threads about this on the resort board.

We had to buy a 1 day pass since you are required to buy passes to do the package, we are hoping we can just save that pass for a future trip.

We originally had a BDP code room only rate. I tried to add the MYW tix and dining package to it but couldn't. I did, however, get a great rate at AAA for the whole package. It came out about the same as what it would have cost had I been able to add the MYW to the BDP code room only ressie. Sometimes it just depends who you get on the phone.

It depends on what PIN code you have. If you booked in 2004 under a PIN code, there are no corresponding MYW packages because those codes had to be booked by 12/1/04 - before the MYW packages came out.

For those who have current PIN offers, there should be a corresponding package code that the CM can use to price out a MYW package + dining using the discounted room rates.

For current PIN offers there is indeed a corresponding code in CROs computer that will allow you to make it a package (with or without dining) so the answer to this question is yes, if you received a current valid PIN offer you can indeed book a package with dining with the discounted room (keep in mind that it changes from a CRO policy with payment at check in to the WDTC package with full payment 45 days in advance.)

I booked room only with a pin code yesterday and was told no I could not add the dinnig even if I bought the package because the room was discounted. Actually, to be fair, I could get the package, but I would loose the room code. I was told it's one "deal" per person.

I wish someone in the know would let us know for sure about this room only with discount, with dining option and add 1 day so I can decide how to make our reservations.

Keep calling back untill you get someone who knows how to enter everything. This MYW and the Dining Plan is new, also a ton of codes have gone out in recent weeks. Some CM's although friendly and trying to be helpful haven't mastered all the set-up. Keep Trying!! Don't wait or what you need may be gone.
