Can you add the dining plan at check in?

If I have a room only reservation, is it possible to add the dining plan at check in? I will be buying tickets at check in, so I wondered if I could add the dining thus making it a package. Or can it only be booked in advance?

You cannot add the dining plan at check in. It must be booked as part of your package (call your TA about adding it now. If you didn't use a TA, call WDW). If you are DVC, it must be booked at least 5 days prior to arrival. Call Member Services.

You can add the dining plan up to 72 hours before your trip.
