Can you add one person to ADR or do I have to start over?

My parents and I have been planning this trip since Feb. (well , really we start planning before we even leave the last trip so Oct) Now, my brother is thinking of going and just told my mom this week. I made my ADR's at 180 days to get everything I wanted. Right now we are a party of 6 and my ADRS are - Nov. 14 Yacht Club Galley - 7:15
Nov. 15 Plaza - 4:25 ( and MVMCP)
Nov. 16 Le Cellier - 7:30
Nov. 17 Shula's - 8:15
Nov. 18 Boma - 9:00 a.m.
We are not on ddp this time because of a discounted room rate. I am most worried about LeCellier because as it is now we have 2 tables - ( 4/2 split)- the only way I could get a decent time.

Any advise is appreciated.

Going rom an odd number of people up one to an even number is never a problem. Just about every restaurant table is designed for an even number of people.

However, going up one from even to odd can be a problem, as a larger table is required. And generally the tables are close enough together that you cannot have a person sit at an end, or at the end of a booth as it will obstruct the aisle for other guests and for the servers.

So to go from six to seven you should try for new reservations.

Thanks - even though wasn't what I wanted to hear ;)

Do you have a travel agent? I've done this before with an agent and had no problem.
You might be suprised even if you didn't use an agent. Try calling and see what they say.

My nephew isn't coming with us after all and all of my reservations are for 8. There will only be 7 of us, does anyone think we'll have any hassles? I've cancelled the Princess Lunch because they said they would charge $10 for anyone who didn't show up, but I didn't want to deal with the other ones. I should be okay, right?

Maybe your brother could forage on his own for a few meals if you can't get him in on some of your existing reservations?

I wouldn't be re-booking everything to accommodate someone who joined up late. But in my family, my bro would cheerfully head off for counter service and a few more rides while the rest of us went to Le Cellier. Of course it won't work if the family sees dinner together as a major part of the trip.

Thanks for the advise so far. My brother hasn't been to WDW since we were kids (late 70's) so he has no idea about ADRs, etc. I really want him to join us if possible since he hasn't been able to go with us the past few years. Knowing my dad, he would stay at the hotel and eat CS so my brother could try the TS. Anyways, right now I don't even know if I have to worry about it. I just want to be prepared if he does come with us.

You'll be fine. You fit the profile mentioned by Cheshire Figment. You did
the right thing by cancelling a person for a meal that required payment for
no-shows.

Always remember the maximum amount of people to a table is usually an
even number, and if you need to reduce the number, you'll still be fine.
