Can you add an extra day to a 3-day park hopper?

We are going to DL Mon. Jan. 3 - Fri. Jan 7 - we fly on the 3rd and 7th. We bought 3-day park hoppers to use Tues., Wed., & Thurs., but I just realized the park closes at 8:00 those nights and there is no fireworks, etc.

Does anyone know if we can add a 4th day to our 3-day passes, or will we have to pay full-price for Monday evening?

Yes you can add a day for the difference in gate price so if you got the 3 day hoppers at a discounted rate you will lose any discount. From what I understand you can only do this at the gate ticket booths and it must be done BEFORE you have used all 3 days on your pass so don't wait until the last minute.

That is what you should expect to pay the difference from what you paid to what a regular cost 4 day is.

However I have heard one report, just one, that the cm said it was fine and only charged the difference from a regular priced 3 day to 4 day.

Yeah that will be fairly late to get though the airport to the hotel to drop baggage and to the gates. You probably won't be able to wonder in and find a decent spot for firework if that is you ambition. You could get in a few rides though and it might be a nice close to a travel day.

OP if you don't think you can make it in, remember you can see the fireworks from the esplanade, no park ticket needed. Of course you can't really hear the music but you can still see them.
