Can you a request when renting dvc points?

Last year I used Davids and they were able to put a building and floor request in for me. I'm renting points off of 2 private ppl this year. Can they put a request in? They weren't sure how to do it so I thought I would ask here.

They should know, if they don't, are you sure it's a legit rental? All DVC owners should know how to make a request. BE CAREFUL.

They have lots of positive feedback on ************. I received the confirmation and it's on my mde account.

All the owner has to do is call MS and ask for your request to be added to your reservation.

The request will not show on MDE. If you go this route, do NOT enter/type anything into the section of the online check -in form that asks for requests. By doing so, you will overwrite anything MS added.

You can also use the online check-in for requests. However, the requests listed often have little to do with DVC resorts and there is no way to "free-form" or add a note to your request when you use online check-in. That's why most members call MS to add requests. The MS CMs have the ability to add notes to refine requests..
