Regarding the naked baby issue...
I (VERY JOKINGLY) threatened my eldest two daughters that I would use their naked baby pictures as iron on transfers on their bookbags for school if they didn't pick up their rooms.
Those baby pictures are the stuff that goes in yearbooks and photo collages at weddings!!!
As for the OP's OP, yes, things you say online can and do have real world consequences.
Couple examples. On another Disney board, there was a frustrated CM who came on and aired out a bunch of oddities that got the reprimanded. Needless to say there, the instances were so peculiar, that former CM was pulled into a meeting and the thread was brought up by management.
A different example, with my current employer, a person on a different shift was bruised up from the work we do. They posted about it all over FB, but didn't report the "injury" (it's not really injuries, just bumps and bruises you get from doing the work). Well, management caught wind of it and that person got an extra day off via suspension.
I'm surprised that no one's gone into the cyber-bullying spectrum. There's was a report on the news tonight about it actually here.
The internet is forever. I mean, look at everything with the President. He's eating tweets everyday from years ago.
There's a time and place for every bad review, etc... Most notably, if you're going to give a bad review, at least have the decency to have had a discussion with a manager or owner of whatever it is you're going to complain against. Write the bad review, but mention that you did speak with someone.
Basic rule... DON'T BE A KATIEBUG!
