Can we use DVC dining discount on July 4th?

I know that the DDE has an exclusion and can't be used on holidays such as the 4th of July. I looked quickly but didn't see any similar "blackout" for the DVC discount.

Does anyone know if we can use our DVC dining discounts on July 4th? Thanks!

No, there are no "blackout" dates for the DVC discounts unless noted.

Last year we used our DDE card on July 4. We did not realize that there was a blackout date, and apparently our waiter did not realize it either! You can always ask.

We used the DVC discount on this past Monday. I must admit I wandered to myself if they might black it out though I didn't recall seeing anything. And I used the 30% Fulton's Crab House for lunch on Sat but ordered off the dinner menu, pretty cool.
