Reverse racism against white people doesn't exist. It can't exist. Here's a great video that will explain it to you.

Though the people that need to understand this will never click on it.

It can't exist when viewed through the CRT framework and the oppressed/oppressor narrative from which this video comes, I agree with you there. That way of viewing the world has risen to prominence and for some time now has been virtually unassailable...in large part because that framework dismisses all other frameworks of viewing the world.

Does it exist in the real world? Well, we just saw some poll results on the topic that should cause all of us to re-assess where we are as a society and where we want to go from here.

Also, to be clear, I'm not really criticising the message of the video, just its presentation and tone.

>>>"By telephone and online, the group surveyed a thousand American adults, with this question: "Do you agree or disagree with this statement, 'It's OK to be white'?"

The report found that 72% of the respondents agreed, including 53% who are Black. Some 26% of Black respondents disagreed, and 21% said they are "not sure."<<<

Scott Adams is a fool.
The bolded part above is absolutely awful, and just as racist
All that poll shows is lots of black people think the phrase is suspect. It would be like putting out a phrase such as white lives matter and asking the same thing. It would quickly be identified as a dig put out by the usual suspects rather than genuine and be disagreed with. Rasmussen knew it was loaded.

Even if every black person that answered "not sure" or Disagree had nefarious intent, it still wouldn't be just as racist as the rant Adams unleased, and not even close to the systemic racism enforced with absolute cruelty in this country.

I never paid two ounces of attention to this man. I never liked his cartoons so why would I pay attention to him?

I had heard a little about what he said. Very brief. So I went on YouTube to see if I could find this interview to see for myself why such words would be uttered (which is so 🤯 to me). Anyway, watched about 10 minutes of first interview that popped up, the Hetop Jesus interview, and he said it from the jump - he likes getting attention and he likes to be an energy monster. I don't have time for his nonsense. And apparently neither to do the newspapers or companies he's dealing with.

Just like he has every right to talk, I have every right to not listen. And the newspapers have every right to do what they see fit for their organization.

The poll was shocking but you need to take a poll for what it is worth, very little. And to twist it into what was spewed ... yeah, no. Like I said, a'int nobody got time for that.

Yes, our country has flaws. We are not perfect. But how I see it is there are good and bad people of every race. For the most part we are good, we just never hear about the good. It isn't "newsworthy." :rolleyes2 Decency, kindness, and empathy are boring. Just treat others how you want to be treated. It really is that simple. In my heart (my optimistic heart) I truly believe most people feel this way. Personally, I am sick and tired of the outliers becoming the focus in attempts to ruin it and divide our country even more than it already is. Just my 2 cents, which really doesn't mean much.

I know my impact on others won't be far reaching. All I can do is my best to live up to the words I said above.

While, I agree with most of the points made in that video, I personally don't think it's a good example because of how condescending and dismissive the narrator is. This is the type of presentation that is not helpful in creating dialogue and actually being informative because it's tone is an immediate turn-off. Being combative from jump is not productive.

I agree. The video has some good points to make about the differences between individual prejudice and systemic bias, and how racism against people of color operates through both channels while "reverse racism" is confined to the former in the places where it does exist. But that tone means it is just going to be shared among people who already agree, not actually communicate anything of value to those who might not be aware of the distinctions.
