Can we sit for Fantasmic now?

Thinking about doing the dining with Fantasmic fast pass, but am trying to find out if we get a fast pass will we be standing for the show? We will have an infant with us and a toddler so having a place to sit would be much more enjoyable. I thought I read somewhere that Blue Bayou dining would come with a seated location. (Blue Bayou is nice, but the darkness is difficult with the little ones) I was thinking the Hungry Bear Dessert would be better for us. Does anyone know if this would be a seated location for Fantasmic?

Thanks!!

The seating for Fantasmic! is still only sitting on the ground, not an actual seat just to be clear. The Blue Bayou is the only section that is entirely seated, the others I think depend on how crowded it is. There have been reports of the front of each reserved section being able to sit if it's not wall-to-wall people.

Yes, you can sit on the ground in some areas (not sure if that's only priority seating). I miss the dessert buffet on the balcony. :worried:

The technical answer is that only the guests with the Blue Bayou dining package are guaranteed to be ground seated for the show. The other dining packages and FP viewing areas are said to be standing room only, but in practice it seems like there is ground seating in the areas along the Rivers of America in most cases. For the FPs, it's inconsistent whether they fill the area closest to the Rivers of America first or second, so unfortunately it doesn't seem like it'd be easy to predict when you should arrive. For RBT and Hungry Bear Dessert Party, those viewing areas are along the Rivers of America, so unless it's super crowded (i.e., lots of folks signed up for the packages) I would guess most of the area will be ground seated.

What happens when you pay for the BB dinner but are unable to sit on the ground? Sad that they removed the seating area. It was worth every penny for that chair.

They allow guests to stand in the back of the Blue Bayou viewing area, behind the wheel chairs/ECVs.

I thought I saw a pic somewhere of a cast member setting up folding chairs, they stopped that? Darn I was going to look into it more for our July Trip.

The old dessert party used to have chairs, so that it is possible that you saw photos from that event.
