Sorry if silly question but we have just booked Disney with free dining for 2020. My sons will be 3 and 5. If we are at a table service restaurant will my boys be able to share a kids meal and just use one credit? I know obviously for buffets we would need to use a credit each. Many thanks

I would say that the chance is much greater for your family as your youngest is 3 and they don't really eat their value on the Dining Plan anyway! Servers know that and so do their managers. Other than the above-mentioned eateries, you should be fine!

Also, you may know this, but QS credits are not split between adult and child credits so you can order an adult meal for them to share at QS locations. Great way to stretch your credits!

Yes, we always used QS credits on adult meals for the kids to share when they were younger.

I think that some of the kids meals are pretty small, but they are also very inexpensive. If you find that one is not enough for the two boys, you can always order an additional one and pay OOP.

Bouncing on that kids QS credits used for adult meals.

We did that on our previous trip and it sure was a great way to stretch what we paid for the DDP.

With that being said, if a kid's TS credit is letf unused and we choose to use it as a QS credit, is it still working for a an adult meal? I hope I'm clear :)

Wondering the same thing about converting a kids TS to QS, and whether you could then order an adult meal with beverage with the leftover credit.

Interesting question. I imagine that it's up to management at the eatery and wouldn't count on being able to do it.
