Guess what I am watching!!!!!!!!! Yes...Titanic!!! lol

Sounds like a perfect evening! I'm gonna pop mine in tonight too and just soak it all in sister! Did you ever watch that documentary with James Cameron that detailed the making of Titanic and the dives (that's probably not the right terminology) he took down to the actual wreckage? It was sooo cool, my BFF and I watched it about 3 times in a row. What a bunch of winners, right?

I'm going to tell ya something because I think you'll really appreciate it, you know, since you're a Titanic fan too! For our 1 year anniversay, DH left work to drive almost an hour home on his lunch break so that he could surprise me with the Titanic soundtrack in our apartment! It was soooo sweet and I cried when I walked in the door because he had it playing in the background! Yup, he's a keeper for sure!

Your Gatlinburg pics are great so far...........I love Titanic too! I've been to exhibits in both Florida and Vegas....may have to convince my hubby to check out the TN one too when we visit! Don't know how that will go over though... The dresses are so pretty......what a wonderful idea for a Halloween costume!

I hemmed a pair of black pants last Xmas and I didn't notice the thread was blue.... my DMom just shook her head.

It's so sad that our generation can't sew.

LOL!!! This will make you laugh out loud even more........one time I actually "ahem" stapled my pants leg at the bottom one time at work!!! lol!!!!

Glad I'm not the only one who's taped pants before! Seriously, my grandmother would be sooo very disappointed in me. She is an amazing seamstress, really fabulously gifted. And then there's me! The opposite of fabulously gifted. I blame my mom though, she hated to sew even though my grandmother taught her so in turn, she never taught me or my sister. Shame on her!

You're killing me! I LOVE the Titanic quotes you were doing! Perfectly executed! DH would've fallen over laughing if I'd have said that...Jack, I'm so cold! Ok, now I'm laughing again! My DH loves to quote Cal..."You can be blase about some things Rose, but not about Titanic!" Don't ask me why he remembers that one line! It's weird, right?

Anyhow, love all the pics and updates, Hollie is super duper cute! Can't wait to see the rest!

Hi Heather!! Sorry I've been MIA--things have been sooo busy here! But I'm all caught up now! Love the baseball pics!! That pink helmet is sooo cute!! Hollie looks like she was really enjoying herself!

She looked so cute at her Vday party--cute Minnie shirt and bow!! Sorry to hear about the mean girls. I dealt with that a lot growing up--girls making fun of me and destroying my self esteem. I do not look forward to dealing with that with Ally or Claire.

That is one thing I can't stand, is mean kids in school. I remember in high school and jr. high seeing kids get picked on and I would always step in and say something to the one doing it. It just made me so mad!!!!

I watched Titanic in high school at the theater. My boyfriend of 3 years moved away for college. I cried SO hard watching the movie that I threw up It just made me so sad that Leo died and I guess it made me think of my boyfriend with all the love stuff? Ahh we are all crazy in high school, right?

Hollie is SOOOO cute in her softball outfit! I am so proud of her, she looks like she is having lots of fun!

I can not believe the teacher did not stop the girls from being mean. That is really her responsibility. It makes me so upset. Hollie is a strong girl with good parents. She will be just fine

I have been doing a lot of reading about it and then the doctor spoke in length to us this past visit. He didn't sugar coat anything that is for sure! He said the number 1 priority with the doctors at my office are to get the baby born and make sure everything is okay with "peanut" first...then they will deal with the fibroid. He said I would have some pain, but I told him I had a baby kicking my ribs, stomach, lungs, etc 5 years ago..I can deal with anything!

Okay, I wanted to share some pictures from Hollie's 2nd practice!

Now, here is a funny video!!! They would all take turns running to 2st base. Well, Hollie would jump over it! The first time she did it, the coach told her she was out and she put her hands on her hips really fast like...she did not like being called out!! lol!!
So, I thought I would video the next time in case she did it again...she didn't disappoint!! lol!

Oh my word! Hollie is beyond adorable!! She really is. And you know what, I'm going to have to side with Hollie on this whole 'bases' thing too. It's much more graceful to leap over 2nd base than to just step on it! She's a princess of course, so leaping looks much more pretty than just plain ol' boring stepping! So you tell Hollie that she did just fine and the coach is the one who was wrong! Didn't he see her all decked out in pink, including her super cute pink glove? He should've known better! And I LOVE the hand on the hip! You have to keep that little video forever, it's absolutely precious Heather!

LOL!! I know, when we left I told Chad that he was "kinda" telling them the wrong way to even step on the bag. I always stepped on the corner with my right foot so I didn't trip. But, I am gonna tell Hollie your reasoning behind it...it sounds so much better!!

Okay, so last I left you…we were going to drive up to the historic nature trail so we could hopefully see some snow that was left over. Well….by this point it started flurrying a little! Yay!!! I was so excited!!!! So, we turn left to go up the road past our hotel and we start to see this a little ways up:

We pulled over right before the gate because it was close!! Pooh!!!! As I was getting Hollie out of the truck to take some pictures we noticed a truck pulling up on the other side to open the gate. I guess they were checking how bad it was up there. Here are some pics of Hollie where we pulled over:

We get back in the truck and drive up to the cabin…..this is what we saw!

Chad took this picture of me and Hollie and you can see the snowball coming towards my face that he thought would be funny to throw!! Lol!

We decided to drive on up through the trail and see what we could see up there!

We made it back to our hotel and here is the view on our balcony:

You can see there wasn’t much snow back down in that area yet!

We decided to go get some dinner later that afternoon. Here we are getting ready!

We got back to the room and Hollie wanted to swim!

In the above picture, you might can see a girl to the right of Chad. Well…this girl…augh!! She came down with her parents, her dad got in the hot tub and the mom stayed in a seat playing on her cell texting. Well, this girl would come and do a cannonball right between Chad and Hollie. Had it been me she was doing it to, I would have said something. Chad didn’t…he just swam away from her. She did it 4 times and the mother never said anything. Finally I looked at Chad and said, “Please get Hollie away from the kid doing cannonballs in her face!” The mother finally got the hint. She was even gonna let her kids get in the waterfall that had a HUGE sign that said, “Danger, keep out! No swimming!” Come on lady….geez!!!!

OMG, the pics of the ski lift...we rode on that! Of course, it wasn't during the winter! But, the view up at the top is amazing! And it was so neat seeing the town on the way down.
