So the only Ana Elsa I was able to snag was for 7-8:00pm. We have a 7:45 ADR at chef mickeys. Think we can make the ADR? we will be at princess hall exactly 7:00. I've looked for different times but so far nothing :/

What time of year? It is possible, but you would be, under the best of circumstances, cutting it VERY close.

I've heard they will honor FP+ up to 5 minutes early. I agree you are cutting it close, but if you go at 6:55 and either get in, or wait for your actual return time, then walk (or run ) to CR rather than waiting for the monorail.... you might make it.

Yeah don't take the monorail, def walk! I think there is leeway on ADRs too?

Boy, that's close and with the FP+ wait inconsistencies for A&E, I'd be nervous. I'd keep checking for a later ADR at CM's just so you don't have to rush the character greeting.

If nothing pops up, you could do it if you arrive at 6:55 but you might be a bit late for your ADR (assuming you speedwalk). They will hold that ADR for 20 minutes after its time. Even beyond that, they can usually accommodate you if you explain your situation.

I think taking the monorail would get them there quicker than walking since it is the first stop on the resort line. But I have never done the actual walk to CR so it could be quicker than I'm thinking.

I would DEFINITELY walk - it's very easy and much less risky than the monorail - which has the long ramp, could be stuck, full, late, etc. the walk Is a guaranteed 10-15 minute thing.

Your CM ADR also has a 15 minute cushion both in. You will be allowed to keep it arriving by 8.

I agree it will be cutting it tight, but I think this plan is reasonable. Though it will be a tight squeeze, I think you can make it. You'll just have to walk quickly (it's a short walk) to CM.

As I said...it's doable under the best of circumstances, meaning you haul butt out of the park with no interruption. No crowd bottle necks. No parade viewing crowds gathering already in your way etc...Your children don't dawdle....the M&G takes exactly x amount of time. Nobody has to pee etc.

I wouldn't gamble, YMMV.

I believe your ADR will be held for 15 minutes after your time. It gives you a slight cushion. Could one person run ahead?

I'm going to call CM right before we go in and explain the situation and see what they say. Once we leave my DH is going to walk briskly ahead of us and beeline it to CM. Thanks for all the advice super appreciate having you guys to go to. Oh!! Just checking my fastpasses and they are for 650 to 750! Not a huge change but slightly better right?

Yes because you can check in for the Fast Pass at 6:45pm.

Keep checking for an earlier Anna and Elsa time and a later CM reservation in hopes of getting one or the other.

Calling won't help because you can't call the restaurant. You'll get either the dining line or a call center and regardless of what they say, the ultimate decision on whether they are seating latecomers or not will depend on what is happening at CM when you arrive. End of August, however, shouldn't be as busy as some other times.

With a 6:50 FP, I think you'll be fine. Do try to redeem it at 6:45, to be safe. But that gives you a full hour to do a M&G and then get over to the Contemporary. We stayed at BLT in 2012 and it never took us more than 10 minutes to do the walk, especially when we were in a hurry. It's definitely faster than the monorail. We only took the monorail when we didn't care how long it took us to get to the Contemporary and didn't feel like walking.

It may actually be easier to look for a different ADR for CM. I would do both daily, especially closer to the 45 day mark when people have to cancel due to non-payment.

If you are there right at 6:45 and leave the park immediately after I think you can make it. I would walk to CR.
