Can we get a king room at a Value resort with a 2 year old and 6 month old?

The 6 month old will sleep in the pack n play. But the 2 year old will do better in between us in the king bed rather than in a queen alone or a queen with one of us.
Plus this would allow more space in the room for the double stroller and pack n play to not have the 2 queens I think.

I just didn't know if it was allowed?

There are King beds at Values not a lot of them. You have to call to request them.

Most of the rooms are Queen with the second bed folding down from the wall where the table is. The beds are pretty high. You can fit a suitcase under them. You maybe able to fit your folded stroller under the bed.

You can't get a guaranteed King Room at a value resort (unless something has changed) so it is just a request. I've never had a King request honored I don't know if that is just bad luck or what.

The website won't let you book anywhere you can guarantee a king bed with 2 adults and 2 children the ages you've stated, not sure that is something a cast member can override on the phone? You can do 2 adults and the 2 year old, I guess the infant wouldn't need to be on the reservation necessarily since they don't need any reservations or tickets...

It depends on the stated guest capacity. One child under 3 in a Pac-N-Play is not counted toward room capacity.

If a king room has a sofabed for a third person, child or adult, you're fine wherever you wish your 2-year-old to sleep. You'd have to have a designated third-person sleeping surface, though.

I don’t think you get a sofa bed at the values. I just watched a YouTube video of King bed room at Pop. It’s just the 1 bed.

I requested a king bed at Pop last august on the top floor. Neither request was honored so at check in I asked the front desk nicely can they please consider honoring one of the requests with the king bed as priority as we were only 2 adults. It took longer to check in because of this but they switched the rooms around and honored the king request. It was also 1 in the morning when I checked in so perhaps they had the time to deal with me and handle all the switching. If there was a line behind me I’m not sure if they would have done it.

If I had your concerns, I would get a room at a moderate, like POR, that has the pull down murphy bed. It is low to the ground and your 2 year old would fit perfectly in it. I don't know your concerns, but our kids slept in the other queen bed just fine at that age. People worry that they will fall out, but that is really rare. Some people say that Disney will provide bed rails(I can not verify that since we never asked) or you can use pool noodles to make a barrier if that is your concern.

Unfortunately, no it is not, not at a value resort. Your party is too large for a King room at a value resort (max occupancy 2 plus 1 small child). Some moderates and deluxes have a king bed plus a murphy or day bed, so that would work. King bed isn't a bookable category at a value resort anyway, just a request. If having a king is very important, you'll need to book that category, which won't be a value resort -- avoid "sleeps up to 2 adults" as the capacity because you can't include both children.

Thanks.
I was just checking to see if it was even allowed. I know we can have two adults and two kids in a room with two queens at a value but wasn't sure about the one king.
We have extended family staying at POP for our stay so we won't be switching resorts. The two year old just isn't very used to travel with mostly being a "covid time" baby. So he prefers to sleep in bed with one or both of us in a hotel and I just thought king would be better and provide more floor space in the room for crib and stroller. but sounds like it's a no go. Thanks anyway.

Housekeeping will provide bed rails if you think you might need them on the bed.
