Can violinist play more songs?

I know that in my planning packet there is space for (I think) dance and two other songs they will play during reception. I was wondering if they could play more. We won't be doing a dance because it just seems weird with a couple of people there. But, we would like to hang out a little after the wedding. Surely it takes longer than two songs to eat some cake and drink some bubbly. Or am I being ridiculous?
What was the time like at your intimates girls?

The violinist will definitely play more than 2 songs - unless you eat/drink *really* fast We requested 2 songs - 1 for our first dance, 1 for father/daughter. Other than our 2 requests, he played a mixture of classical and Disney and was open to requests. He played until we were finished, I think it took us around 20-30 min. HTH
