Hi,

We are in the process of looking at DVC at Saratoga Springs and have been considering buying a resale. I also saw Vero Beach resales. Can you use your points at WDW? Does it work like other DVC resorts at WDW? When do Vero Beach timeshares revert back to Disney?

Thanks for any help!

Vero Beach reverts to Disney in January 2042, like all the other resorts, except for SSR (2054). Yes, you can use Vero points at WDW resorts...booking at the 7 month window. Be aware that annual dues are higher at Vero because the original resort was not fully built out and remaining land was sold. Also you are taking a chance for hurricane damages and special assessments if there is hurricane damage. If your primary vacation destination will be WDW on a continual basis, I would buy at one of the WDW DVC resorts.

Be aware that the cheaper point cost of Vero might have a boomerang when you see that it has the highest maintenance fees. If you are mostly wanting to book at WDW, then buy a resale at one of the WDW DVC resorts. If you want to use your points at Vero and occationally stay at WDW, then the Vero resale would be a good idea.
