I am pretty sure we brits can win as we are able to send in postcards for the mail in part of the competition.

Are you referring to the big prizes? When we were ther at Xmas we got dream fastpasses at MGM.

We've been sending in postcards - won a beautiful set of YOAMD ears. They were sent in the post to the UK.:goodvibes

The offical rules state:

ELIGIBILITY

The fifty (50) United States, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom

Anyone really can win the lanyards, ears and fastpasses, they are distributed in mass quantites (anywhere from 15-100) so the Dream Squad is not screening on those lower tier prizes. It is when you win something bigger, the castle stay, a trip or something of that nature where the rules of eligibility come into play.

of course us from uk can win,i am going to win the dvc points

Surely they would not be allowed to do that with visitors from all over the world going.
Can u imagine winning a castle stay and you are from Australia and then WDW saying "sorry not elegiable".

I have just called WDW to check this ,as i live in none of those countries ,and they tell me that there is no such rule as it would be discriminatory.
So here's hoping

I'll take all that back.As i jsut found the offficial rules on their web site and it is right. How amazing????

I would be devastated. (I'm from Australia)

Me too Princessbelle
I am British but live in The Gambia
wonder how they would class me? eligible or not??
and my adopted daughter who will be with me is Gambian.
Would love to see how they deal with that situation.
But really how can they do this???
anyone know?

i've been sending postcards in (a bit randomly admittedly) for the past couple of months so i certainly hope we have a chance. Good luck to everyone tho :)
