Can unused Connections vouchers be returned after canceling the trial membership?

Can unused Connections vouchers be returned for a refund after the trial membership has been cancelled? I understand that they must be returned within 90 days of their purchase date, but is an active Connections membership also required? We are going to Disney the last week of February and I was just wondering about the return policy in case we should decide to order vouchers and then have some left over.
