Okay, one more question and then I'm ready to make my ressie. We are staying on DVC points in April. Travel party is just me and DH. We have one night booked in a one bedroom at AKV, 3 nights booked BWV.

Question, can I take the Deluxe plan for each of us for the one night at AKV, and the Basic Plan for each of us for the 3 nights at BWV?

If so, how does the one night plan work? I understand we each get 3 sit down meals per night of our stay, so since it's just one night, when do we have to use the meals by? In other words, can I use one sit down each the night we check in and two sit down meals each the day we check out?

Yes you can do that. We are doing something similar in June. We are doing 1 7 night reservation on the Deluxe plan and then making our last night a seperate reservation without dining to give us until midnight on the day we check out of our 7 night stay to use our deluxe plan. This will make it much easier for us to use all of our credits.

I don't think your dining plan from the first stay will carry over to the rest of your stay. The meals from the first plan will expire at midnight of the day you check out. So, you could use the plan the day you check in and the day you check out of the AKV. You'll have 3 meals available on day 1, day 2 have whatever is left over from day 1 and the meals for one day of your BWV stay (theoretically it could be as many as 4 TS, 1 CS, and 3 snacks). Then day three any meals from the AKV stay will expire and you will only have meals left from the BWV stay. Does that make sense.

Anyway, that is my interpretation of the dining plan, I could very well be wrong though. Lets say you were doing a split stay and not doing any dining plan for the second part of your stay. During the second reservation, you would only have those meals for the day of check-out of the first portion it wouldn't carry over to the rest of your second portion.

I think Melissa is correct. Your deluxe plan expires at midnight on the day of your checkout. You can have the three sitdown meals if you want them (you could also use your credits for counter service meals) but you'd have to use the ones tied to your reservation on the two days covered by that reservation.

I think you're lucky that all the refillable mugs look alike now.
