Can this carseat be used on airplane?

It's a highback booster w/ a solid plastic back and bottem frame and internal straps to hold him in. I cannot get in the back of DH's car to see if there's a lable on it saying it's ok (HE has a Musatange GT, and getting DS back there is hard enough. Let alone trying read lables on the darn thing!).

We also have a Roundabout that's are main carseat. I just thought that this one would be much easier to travle w/ and fit on the plane seat better since there's not that big base that sits the roundabout so high off the seat. Thanks!

The older model of that seat certainly was, I used it on planes times past counting. The approval is conditional, and only applies when the 5-pt harness is in place and actually used to restrain the child.

Check your owner's manual, it should give the specifics. (And of course, the sticker on the back, but you knew that )

As long as you are using it with the internal harness, yes it can be used on the airplane. Also make sure the FAA approved sticker is still in place in the event they check for it.

It should be but only if the sticker is in-tact so you will have to loosen the straps in the car to be sure the sticker is on the seat prior to planning to take it. I have had a few trips where the FA's have been pretty insistant on making sure the label was on the seat.

If the label is not on the seat they will not allow it.

Just double check for the FAA approval. And the above posters are right, you can only use it with the 5 pt harness.
