As a dentist... I agree... although the basic description you gave would make me think of a salivary gland problem... you should seek a professional opinion (not mine - I can't see you or your oral cavity) it could still be other things and without a true examination, there's no telling what it is!!!

I would suggest a dentist, since they specialize in the oral cavity!!!

Please, please go get this checked out. My cousin had a thing under her tongue that she put off for years cause it never bothered her.

Turned out to be oral cancer - she now has weeks to live. She is 37 with a 4 and a 6 year old.
