I don't know if I am posting this in the right place, but we had our uncle reserve us a condo in his timeshare. Long story short, we have a few more people going and so we had to cancel the condo(it was too small). So when he called to cancel, they told him that it was going to cost 360 dollars to cancel, when the entire week was only going to cast a total of 169 dollars! We aren't going for over two months yet, so it is not like we cancelled at the last min! I have never dealt with timeshare, so I don't know the drill!

If that's the case, why not just not show up? Who would pay that kind of cancellation fee, but maybe I am missing something?

I don't own a timeshare so I don't know how they work.

Could you ask for a larger unit to fit the entire group?
