Can the same day be placed on both of your wait list request?

I currently have one BCV wait list request. It is for a Thursday, Friday and Saturday during the Food and Wine festivities. I also have called to see if only the Saturday date was available and today I was told that I should put a second wait list request for only that Saturday. I told the CM that these reservations were all being maid with barrowed points and I didn’t want two Saturday nights if it happened that both request were filled at approximately the same time. He then explained that although the computer flags which wait list are to be filled, the CM’s manually do the final process of actually assigning them to the member. Then I was told that I could leave instructions, on my request, that only fill the request for the Saturday night if only that night is open. Sounds like if I were to get that Saturday I would still have the three night request active and could be getting the Saturday night again. Any thoughts on how to manage these request?

You would have to do your waitlists at different hotels in order to have 2 for the same night. I don't know about the rest of your question though... I think I'd be nervous about doing 2 with borrowed points.
