My TA messed up and has my ds2's name listed as the older one. My Older DS is upset that his KTTW card will have his brother's name and not his name. Can they change this at the resort? I called Disney to see if they can make the correction, but they said only the travel agent can. She is out of town the next few days, and we leave in a week. Please let me know how I should handle this. TIA!

I am venturing to guess they can. I can't see why they can't. Also based on the fact that at the BW in May the CM put on my neice and nephews cards Princess and Prince on the card followed by their first names. I would simply tell the CM at check in they got your childrens ages mixed up.

Every one will have their own card. Tell the CM when you are checking in and they will issue the card with the correct name.

Do the KTTW cards have first and last names on them? When I reserved our room at CR I did so under my maiden name. I tried to ask Disney CRO to switch my last name on the ressie to my new married name but she claimed they couldn't do that. So I can have my real NEW married name printed on our KTTW card??

K - Key
T - To
T - The
W - World
it is your room key which is used to get access to the EMH, transportation, pool at your resort and more.

Thanks! But I assume that would be for older kids, as I don't see how I could give the room key to my 6 year old...

They will give you a room key for everyone in your party over the age of 3 because it also has their tickets on them to get in the park. If you choose to put charging privlages on the card they will can only put it on the adults or older children that you choose.

My oldest got a card but since she was only 3 I didn't let her carry it. I just gave it to her when it was time to enter the park and then she handed back to me or her Dad.

We made a point to ask them NOT to put the kids first names on the KTTW card (we just did last name 1, 2, 3, & 4 for each family). While Disney is an amazingly magical place, it is the perfect place for people who want to perpetrate a child crime. We give the kids their keys (4 kids, aged 8-14) as they sometimes wander the resort on their own -- go get a snack or a drink or play on the playground. I didn't want someone to be able to see their card, then say "hey Greg, your mom told me to take you back to the hotel." It might seem unneccessary, but it made me feel better.
