I can find breakfast reservations at Hollywood & Vine every single day, multiple times a day for next week?

It's the only character breakfast that's always available! Should I be worried? We have reservations there, and it's basically to get us to the park before opening.. but I find it odd that it's the only character meal that's always available!! Is it because it's not popular? why? Is the food bad? Is it because they can seat unlimited number of people? :rotfl:

I just find it odd that a character meal is not all booked, not even less than a few days ahead!

Eating there gets you to the park before opening. The food is Disney quality. You should enjoy your visit.

This is exactly why I booked a meal here this year. I have a 15 year old son so obviously no appeal for the characters. But it will give us a chance for some coffee and food in our stomach before starting our day early in DHS. Never been but I can't imagine breakfast can be all that bad. From the reviews, not sure I would ever try dinner, but breakfast seems safe.

What Characters are there?? maybe Disney should rethink those since I can't remember

The characters just aren't as popular as those at other character meals. Disney Junior has a very narrow age demographic and lacks the timeless/ageless appeal of the Fab Five, Pooh & Friends, or the Princesses, way too narrow to fill two character meals (breakfast and lunch). And remember, those of us who covet the pre-rope-drop ADRs are a minority - a lot of people consider those the least desirable times because they don't want to wake up and go that early on vacation!

We had breakfast there on May 3rd and the food was good. The characters were awesome. I would never do lunch or even less dinner but breakfast wasn't bad at all.

We have been there twice and the food was good and everything, the characters were great and the wait staff good.It was not crowded and that is what I really liked.

We went years ago when our kids were much younger. I think that's the reason for availability - it appeals to a much smaller range of guests because the characters are really preschool age appeal. Where other character meals are appealing to young and old alike!

We enjoyed it immensely when our kids were younger. You will too!

Glad to read some of the responses to this - has set my mind at ease! We've got a breakfast booked on my birthday (I sacrificed my fave lunch at Sci-Fi!!!) for our parties kids who LOVE Manny and Oso!

Since they are not popular, I think they should turn it into a Pixar character breakfast. I bet more people would come.

We were there two summers ago and my daughter loved it! She was 3 at the time and in love with Quincy from Little Einsteins. She loved those characters and enjoyed the little dancing thing they did during breakfast. Goliath from JoJo and Goliath freaked her out though! BTW, the food was good!

The food is reportedly on the low side even for Disney. Breakfast is probably better than the other meals, it's difficult to screw up breakfast too badly. And the characters appeal only to the preschool set. Awhile back there was a push at WDW to have more events geared to preschoolers, which is why they have kids coloring when they meet some characters now.

We were there over Christmas break this past year. We got a walk in ressie at about 10:00. We really liked it. Service was good, nice selection and great characters. Our son is 9, too old for these characters but still a lot of fun. The characters spent quality time with everyone and even had a parade and dance party if I remember correctly. I actually remember the corn beef hash being really good and I was a able to make toast! Yum and you can't screw up breakfast too badly and it was reasonably priced too.
