Can someone please suggest a Contemporary Wing room?

We are staying at the Contemporary, in a wing room in about a week.

Can someone please give me some info, including specific room numbers to ask for? water view or garden view? We are clueless on this one.

I don't recall our room number, but we had a standard view wing room in the North Wing. The North Wing is closer to the Magic Kingdom walkway, the Food and Fun Center and the Arcade. The South Wing is closer to the pools. The South Wing might be smoking rooms -- I'm not sure. Perhaps, someone can confirm that. Either wing seemed like it would be fine to me.

We enjoyed having a first floor room with patio, but could not sit out there at night due to the "no see ums" or whatever they were biting us.

Some of the wing rooms have parking lot views. Even though ours was a standard view, we were given a room that looked out on a lawn, a pond and some trees. It was very pretty. I would try to avoid a parking lot view if possible.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Hope this is helpful.

We have stayed at the CR twice. Our favorite room was on the first floor of the North Wing. We stayed in a room right near the playground, I think the room ended in 29 or 31 . This was nice because it was close to the main building where the food center is located, and very close to the bus area. We liked sitting on the patio in the morning. My kids enjoyed the playground, not that we had much time for it, and there were never any kids there. The next time we stay we'd like to be able to see the monorail from our room because our kids are train enthusiasts. I would rather stay closer to the main building and pass on a water view room because its a lond walk to the water view rooms at the end of a busy day!
