can someone please check my math? (split stay DDP)

We are doing a split stay BC/Contemporary, with 5 nights at each. We are considering doing standard DDP (1 QS/1 TS/1 snack pp/day) for the first 5 nights only. We have 2 adults and 2 kids.

The DDP costs $800. I understand it works per night, which means 20 QS/20 TS/20 snacks between the 4 of us. We should have these credits to use starting when we check into BC 5.15 and ending midnight day of checkout (5/20).

Am I OK so far? We had planned to do a character meal 5/20 so I wanted to double check. Will the credits be affected if we check into the Contemporary in AM of 5.20?

We planned to use our TS credits this way:
4 TS Akershus (B)
4 TS Chef Mickey's (B)
4 TS Boma (D)
4 TS captains grille (D)
4 TS via napoli (L)
...which equals roughly $650 with tip.

With 20 snacks at $5 each, that's at $750 before I factor in the QS.
So it seems like it would be a good deal for us.. right?

Do you mean $650 with tip or with tax? The tip is not included in the DDP, so that shouldn't be figured in your calculations. My rough estimate on your TS is around $600.

Even so, it's your two kiddos, and the two most expensive buffets (Akershus, Chef Mickey) that are putting you in the sweet spot of saving money with the DDP. Keep it for that first part.

I might switch Via Napoli to your OOP time, though. It's pretty inexpensive to share pizza there OOP, but you can't with DDP.

Am I right in thinking we can use credits through 5/20 even though we're checking out of our first resort that day?
