I checked 2008 tickets only and get $587. for a 6 day base ticket.

I checked 2008 rooms only for my dates and for POP get $82 per night X 6 =$492.

I added it all together in a package with dinning and get a $1730.22 quote.

Dinning for my 2 adult i child trip is 37.99+37.99+9.99 or $85.97 per day at 6 days total being $515.82.

Add those together and you get:
587.00 ($622.22 with 6% tax) for tickets.
492.00 ($553.50 with 12.5% tax) for room
$515.82(DDP no tax)
total of $1691.54

What is the extra $38.68 for?

Thank you all. I'm tring to book this and am getting beffuzzled!

Was trip insurance in the package price? Maybe?

No, I declined trip insurance and prefered room.

Also, now that I think of it, I should have less tax because the DDP has tax included. So take the 6% off the DDP and that is another $30.94. Total now 70.94 over what the parts cost.

Also your room rate doesn't include tax. There is 12.5% tax on your room, making your 6 night stay = 553.50 + 587 + 515.82 = 1656.32

The dining plan there isn't tax on but the tickets there is 6.5% sales tax. If I add the 6.5% to the 587 I get 1694.48

According to Mousesavers 2 adult 6 day base with tax = 231.11 each and the child is 192.77 so tickets are 654.99

Your room with tax is = 553.50

Your dining plan is 515.82

Add those together and that is = 1724.31
Not sure where the extra $5.91 is but it could be a tax / math / rounding error.

Add those together and you get

Thank you both for the help. I am refining my math above but still come up short of the quote by about $40. Any ideas?

Tickets are 6.5% tax. The adult tickets are 231.11 each with tax and the child is 192. 77 so that adds another $33 to your total, giving you only a $5.69 difference.

Does Disney have out of date information up? this is what I just got when pricing tickets. So that is $622.22 not the $654.99 you gave me. Where do you get your pricing. I'm don't doubt your correct. I just wonder why Disney is quoting a different price.

By the way, thanks for the help!

Prices are from mousesavers.com.

Maybe they haven't updated their site yet with the new ticket pricing. Ticket prices went up today.

Here is the link

Just know that tax for FL is 6.5%, not 6%

ETA:
Yep, it looks like the ticket section of the website hasn't been updated to reflect the new prices that went into effect today.

Ok, thank you for taking the time to do that for me Cobbler on a busy DIS morning! :thumbsup2
