Can someone help with add on incentive please?

Hi!

I am TOTALLY confused about the new add on incentive.

Please can someone tell me how much 120 points would cost me?

I have August use year, would I get 120 points for August 2004, 120 points for August 2005 plus 100 one time bonus points? Seems too good to be true. I dont understand about getting 2004 points when we are in 2005.

When would the points become available?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can shed some light on this. As UK members, now is a good time to add on for the future, the dollar is good for us now.

$95/pt -$5 incentive = $90/point

$90 x 120= $10,800

2004 points would be immediately available and have to be used or banked by 8/1/05.

With the extra 100 pts I figure the effective rate for this deal is $81.67/pt assuming points are worth $10 each.

As far as DVC is concerned, you are NOT in 2005. Your 2004 Use Year runs from 8/1/04 to 7/31/05. You would get the '04 points now (to be used or banked by 7/31/05) along with the 100 "bonus" points, and another set on 8/1/05.

Using $10 per "extra point" its $78.67 w/o the 2004 points or $71.67 with the 2004 points. In both cases I assume that you rent the bonus points as well as the 2004 points in the second case. This seems to be the best deal since $79 with 2003 points (Dec UY). Someone said that there was also no dues for 2005 but I'm not sure about that. Perhaps its just no dues in 2005 on the "bonus points". I always assumed that current year dues would be allocated based on calendar month? I guess this is another argument for December UY.

My guide informed us that the 100 extra points were for our primary resort, meaning which ever resort we had the most points at. So after recieving our paper work for the add on I started last Thursday he is now sending us new paper work, with an additional 20 points and we have 100 extra one time points at the VWL.
