Can someone help w. a Genie+/park hopping question I can't find the answer to?

1. Say I am starting my day in Epcot but then want to park hop in the afternoon over to Hollywood Studios.
2. Let's further say I use my 7am G+ window flr test track, but want to use my first two hour window (so 1030am) to start stacking G+ for DHS.
3. At 1030am, i see Star Tours is available for 12:30 - can I get it? Even if I am not in the DHS yet? Will the return time be 12:30 or moves to 2pm?
4. So then 12:30pm rolls around and alien saucers is available at 130 - will it let me have it? Will that get pushed to 2pm too?

Does this make sense? How early can you start stacking for park 2? What are the rules/in practice realities here? What if anything am I missing?

Pretty sure you can only see reservation times after 2pm for any park you’re hopping to (not the park you have a reservation to).

You can start stacking for park 2 at 7 AM, but anything you get for park 2 will be pushed to 2 PM or later.

Took me a bit to figure it out but when I would choose a time like 12:30pm for my hopping park it would come back and say you have been moved to X time do to hopping. Sometimes I was offered a few times to pick from but usually just pushed to the future. If you don't like the time given just cancel it and book something else.

Keep in mind: if HS opens before EP, then tons of folks will be able to book a second LL before you, unless you luck into a really early TT LL. That park is already slim pickings by the time you get to second choices; I would be worried about not getting much, if any, value out of my G+ there since you 1) didn't get a top HS priority at 7am, 2) are theoretically 30 minutes behind everyone else's 2nd booking and, 3) will be 30 minutes behind again for your third choice before you're even allowed to hop.

If you could plan your hop from an AK morning, where they open earlier than HS, you are in the reverse position and could set yourself up for a much better afternoon. Just something to think about...

You don't have to tell Genie that specifically. Just search for the attractions you want in the park you'll hop to.
