Can someone help me fix my iPod?

It's a Nano...

I have been wearing it in the elastic waistband of my runing shorts all afternoon while I've been cleaning the house. Yes, I know I need to get an armband.

Anyhow, it's been on shuffle. I look down and all that's on the screen is the CD cover. The volume went from the solid bar with the green to a couple of silver dots. I can live with the volume... just not the only the album cover on the screen! Right now, not even the volume things come up- it's just a huge album cover!

Try pushing the center (select) button a couple more times. That toggles through different ways of getting to and listening to the music

I'm fairly new to the IPOD scene, but the volume level can be shown by a solid bar or the dots (and I think one more way). Click the middle button a time or two & it should go back to a bar indicator.

I never read the instruction manual... we had a computer whiz over at the house when I got it, so I let him do everything.

Maybe that ca be my plane reading in 2 weeks?
