Can someone explain what "Free Dinning" is?

I am very confused.

What are the benefits and negatives? I am going down the first week in November, 3 adults, a 5 year old and a 19 month old staying for 7 nights at All-Star Music, is it worth my while and how much extra does it cost?

Disney ran this promotion last fall during their slower season, it is exactly as it sounds-free dining! You are given the Disney Dining Plan free with your Magic Your Way Package. You pay nothing for it and receive free food, one counter service meal, one table service meal, and one snack per night of your package. If this is being offered again this year "I'm not sure that it is" by all means take it! It is a great deal!

Disney has a dining plan, you pay a certain amount for each child and adult in your group per day. From what I understand if you plan on eating table service meals at least once a day then it's worth it. (I'm a passholder so don't use it, you have to buy tickets to use the dining plan.) FREE dining is just the dining plan being offered at no charge as part of some package deals in August and September.

The free dining offer is only good from August 13 (or 14) through September 30, so you wouldn't be eligable for it. It basically gives you a free table service, counter service, and a snack everyday. We are using it for our August trip. Basically, the free dining is the reason why we are going back! Anyway, have a great time!
