Somewhat familiar with DING but not exactly sure how it works.
<you download and install software on your pc. It requires that you have to be connected to the internet, preferable with DSL or cable modem. The software checks the SWA server for the lastest offers, and when new ones are available will play an audible DING! (unless you have the sound muted or turned down) and change the tray icon (SWA tail) in your taskbar to one with an envelope. click on the tray icon and a window the a cute message will tell you when the offers expire. click on the message and the city combos appear.
Do you get DINGs throughout the day?
<at least one, the most has been 3, and they do it 7 days a week, but sometimes they take the weekend off.>
I work during the day so can't download DING at work. Do any DINGs come after working hours?
<sometimes, but any offer that has not expired, can be clicked on. The expired ones display a message that they have expired and list the city combo's only.>
Also, do they come through e-mail?
<Sorry, but no e-mail>
Also, If I'm at work and find out about a DING rate can I book it at work even though I don't have it downloaded?
<Yes, but only if someone sends you a link. There is a work around has been posted before, to get around the firewall issue at work>
Lastly, has anyone ever sean any DINGS coming out of OH, preferably Columbus or Dayton?
<I've seen Columbus, but don't remember what the prices were>
